Big Announcement!

Well guess what!? I have decided to go back to school. It will be my first time ever attending college. I have been getting all the “before school” stuff ready, before I shared my exciting news with you all. I took my Accuplacer test yesterday and signed up for my classes today. I was diagnosed with dyslexia (if you have caught some of my spelling errors now you know why:-) and dyscalculia my senior year of high school, and had such an awful experience with school, that by the time I graduated from high school, I swore I would never go back. Well here I am 9 years later, with a little experience on my shoulders, and I am going for it! I don’t start classes until the 26th of August, so I still have some time to soak in this beautiful summer. In the future I plan to share some of my struggles (the good, the bad and the ugly) and experiences with you, in hopes that you will feel encouraged to go after your own hopes and dreams.  One of my biggest inspirations is my very sweet friend Heather who never gave up and got her degree. You are amazing Girl! To my family and friends thank you so much for your prayers, love, and support!

Happy Friday

  1. You have No idea how proud and excited I am for you !! You are my angel and a true gift from God. I am so happy for you and Chris too! All my love,
    mama

  2. You can do it!! I’m so excited for you! If you need advice or help let me know! When you take math, I highly suggest not taking it in summer and free tutors should be available certain hours and can be helpful! If you take any online, I like those but you can get behind quickly if you procrastinate, which I’m great at, so printing the syllabus helped me to remember due dates! 🙂 you have the drive to accomplish things and everyone will love you!! Xoxo

    • Thank you for the good advice and encouragement. I love you too!

Take it all in and work it at your own pace. Struggles and challenges in life are what make you stronger and wiser. I certainly know this and I’m still learning!!
